• What does the Lettuce Guarantee cover?

  The Lettuce Guarantee includes three commitments: a tax savings guarantee (you save what we estimate or get a refund), a 100% accuracy guarantee (we stand behind every return we file), and business audit support (we assist you through any IRS business audit at no extra cost).

• What happens if I don’t save as much as you estimated?

  If your actual tax savings fall short of our estimate, you’ll receive a full refund of your Lettuce Pro subscription — no questions asked.

• What qualifies as a business transaction?

  Any income or expense related to your business — client payments, contractor payments, software subscriptions, equipment, travel, and so on. Routing these through your Lettuce bank account gives us the visibility we need to guarantee accuracy.

• Do I have to use the Lettuce bank account?

  Yes. The guarantee applies when all business transactions flow through your Lettuce account. If only some transactions are routed through Lettuce, we can’t guarantee the accuracy of your savings estimate.

• What does “business audit support” mean?

  If the IRS audits your business, Lettuce will assist you through the process at no additional charge. This covers IRS correspondence and documentation related to returns filed through Lettuce.

• Does the guarantee apply in my first year?

  Yes — the savings guarantee is calculated based on your income, state, and tax filing status and applies from your first full year on Lettuce Pro.

• What if I was already audited before joining Lettuce?

  Audit support applies to tax filings made through Lettuce. Pre-existing audits or returns filed before joining are not covered.

• Is this guarantee available on all Lettuce plans?

  The Lettuce Guarantee is included with Lettuce Pro.
