We’re thrilled to share some big news! Lettuce has acquired Carry, one of the most trusted retirement and investing platforms built specifically for self-employed professionals.
This is a moment we've been working toward since the earliest days of Lettuce. When we set out to build Lettuce, we made a promise: solopreneurs should have access to the same financial infrastructure, protections, and advantages as employees at the world's best companies. Today, we just got a whole lot closer to delivering that promise.
What Carry Brings to the Table
Carry has built something genuinely special. Their platform gives self-employed individuals access to Solo 401(k)s, IRAs, and accounts for alternative assets that were historically locked behind institutional wealth management. They've earned the trust of thousands of members and manage over $225 million in assets on their platform. If you've used Carry through our existing partnership, you already know the quality of what they've built.
Now it's officially part of Lettuce.
What This Means For You
Think about what it takes to run a financially sound solo business. You need accounting. Tax strategy. Payroll. Healthcare. And one of the most overlooked pieces: retirement planning. Until now, most solopreneurs had to cobble that last part together on their own, navigating a maze of custodians, compliance requirements, and investment options that weren't designed with them in mind.
With Carry joining Lettuce, we can now offer a true end-to-end financial platform for solopreneurs. S-Corp formation, bookkeeping, tax savings, healthcare benefits, and now retirement and investing. In one place, all designed specifically for the way you work.
What's Next
In the near future, we'll be sharing more details about how Lettuce customers can access Carry's retirement and investing tools directly through the platform. We're working on some exciting integrations that will make it easier than ever to start building long-term wealth alongside the day-to-day financial management you already rely on Lettuce for.
There's more to come. This acquisition opens up new possibilities that we can't wait to share with you.
The Bigger Picture
We started Lettuce because we believe the business-of-one is one of the most important forces shaping the future economy. From healthcare benefits to bringing Carry into the fold, each step is designed to expand Lettuce SoloHQ into a complete system for solos. You shouldn't have to choose between independence and financial security. With Lettuce, you don't have to.
Thank you for being part of this journey. The best is ahead of us.
